If you know me personally, you know that I’ve always been an idealist, a dreamer, or a visionary of sorts. For a long time, I thought this was a flaw. I suppressed my big ideas, afraid of how others might perceive them. I focused more on what was “realistic” or “expected” and cast aside my true desires. But I’ve come to realize that this approach isn’t true to my nature. By withholding my passion for the arts, my life lost its je ne sais quoi. I realized that I must create; there is an innate force within me that will always crave it, even if I try to suppress it.

To me, creating is about bringing an unexplainable feeling to life, making an idea tangible and digestible to others. I’ve found photography to be a particularly rewarding medium for me. It has allowed me to execute my visions with precision and bring them to fruition.
